Persephone DaCosta is a dynamic dance educator, choreographer, cultural artist, and founder of Batingua Dance & Drum Productions LLC. Persephone uses the power of movement to inspire joy, build community, and celebrate the African Diaspora. Born of Trinidadian descent, Persephone brings a unique fusion of Soca, Afro-Caribbean, and West African dance to every space she enters.
